Donsy is a to-do and focus app. It is made to work entirely on your phone.

What Donsy collects

Nothing. Donsy has no account, no ads, no analytics and no internet access. Your tasks, routines, Brain Dump thoughts, focus sessions and settings are stored only on your phone. We (the makers of Donsy) never receive them.

Permissions

• Notifications: to show the focus timer and routine reminders.
• Alarms & reminders: to remind you of a routine at the time you chose, and, if you turn it on, to end a focus session on time.
• Run at startup: to set your routine reminders again after your phone restarts.

Export and backups

• When you export, Donsy saves a file in the place you choose. You decide where it goes and who gets it. You can protect it with a passphrase.
• Donsy does not use cloud backup. On Android 12 and newer, Android may copy Donsy's data when you move to a new phone with Android's own transfer tool.

Deleting your data

Delete tasks and thoughts in the app; deleted items are removed for good after 7 days. Uninstalling Donsy removes all of its data from your phone.

Children

Donsy is for everyone, but it is not directed at children under 13. It collects no information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
